How it works
- You send your idea. Buy the listing on Etsy and fill in the Personalization box (what to show, names or dates spelled exactly, size, material). Then send 1–3 clear photos or a quick sketch in Etsy Messages. No photo is needed for a name-only design.
- I design and check. I draw your design with AI assistance, then my cut-file validator checks it. If the validator fails it, I fix it before you see it.
- You get your files. SVG + DXF + PDF arrive in Etsy Messages within 48–72 hours of receiving your idea. Up to 2 revisions on the same idea are included.
What you get
- 1 original design made from your idea
- SVG + DXF + PDF at real size in millimetres
- Default: an ornament about 3.5 in (88 mm) with a hanging hole, for 1/8 in (3 mm) plywood or acrylic. Other sizes on request; I re-check the file at your size.
- Layers by colour: red = cut, black = engrave, blue = score line
What the validator checks
- All cut paths closed, no self-crossing lines, no double cuts
- No loose pieces: the wood stays one connected piece
- Thinnest wood bridge at least 1.5 mm, smallest cut-out at least 1 mm
- Hanging hole 3.5–5 mm with at least 3 mm of wood around it
- Engraving and score lines sit on wood, not over holes
The DXF and PDF are exported from the same checked geometry and cross-checked against the SVG.
Honest limits
Files are checked by software, not test-cut on a laser. Power and speed depend on your machine and wood, so please run a test on scrap first. Very detailed photos get simplified so they cut cleanly.
I can't make copyrighted or trademarked logos, characters, sports teams or brands. If your idea isn't something I can make, I'll tell you and cancel the order with a full refund.
The sample designs in the pictures were made by me to show the style. They are not customer orders.
Licence
Personal use, and you may sell the physical items you cut from your file. Please don't share or resell the digital file itself. Full licence.
